this is the thing about how well science works. science works in such a way if i do something in my lab i'm going to invite scientists from all over the world to check my work. and scientists invite this because, indeed, this group of scientists were themselves amazed that they got the results that they did. inviting others they can pick up errors. it would be really wonderful to find out indeed things can travel faster than the speed of lights but we have to figure the bugs out first. >> as einstein is laughing somewhere, are all the results necessarily discredited or just in a stay position now. >> right now it's in a stay position, and what they've done is they moved down to the position of well we really don't think we thought happened really did but we have errors we need to correct first. then of course what will they do? as good scientists collect more data to make sure of what their results are. >> the other space news we wanted to get to, scientists say they have observed seismic activity on mars which they call mars quake
